Sarah
Harrison is a Research Associate in the Department of Social Anthropology
at the University of Cambridge.
She
has been involved in several multimedia projects, including the
Naga Videodisc,
and more recently, the elaborate Earl's
Colne: Records of an English Village 1375-1854 website.
She
has also made numerous trips to the Gurung village of Thak, in
central Nepal, and has catalogued the entire Thak
Archive in preparation for its launch on DVD as part of the
Digital Himalaya Project.
When
not involved with Digital Himalaya, Sarah Harrison can be found
managing Bracton
Books, a bookdealer specialising in secondhand books for the
academic community particularly in the subject areas of Anthropology
and Ethnography.
